Welcome to my gallery. 

The inspiration for my work comes from classical art probably as a consequence of many visits to the Royal Academy in London during my childhood and teens.

Oil paint and canvas are my preferred materials and with that I mostly seem to paint women. It seems to be what I need to do as an artist. It is especially pleasing if other people appreciate what I do. 

I aspire to represent the spiritual mood of my subjects through their poses, through their eyes!  The viewer is to be drawn in to make their own interpretation. 

Currently my work is not for sale. However, I hope to have some prints and greeting cards available soon.
